Prophits Launch: What Were the Most Searched Companies?

Updated: Sep 15, 2021

The Prophits launch went very well, we have consistently had members using the site since the launch. On the first day in particular I tracked what were the most popular searches both that came back with results and those that didn’t. I have especially noted the ones with no results to see if there are any good funds that hold those companies that I can add to the dataset. In the meantime, I hope you are all trying out as many stocks as you want and getting some interesting results.

The most popularly searched company was Google ($GOOG, $GOOGL) closely followed by Microsoft ($MSFT). And rounding off the podium with a tie between Apple ($AAPL) and Facebook ($FB). In total more than a hundred different companies were searched, the majority of which came back with results. Please contact Prophits (prophits@prophits.app) if you have any suggestions for funds to add or ideas on how we can improve our service.

Here are some of the results:

Google - Philip Morris and CarMax

MSFT - Progressive and Twitter

Apple - Bank of America and Cisco

Facebook - American Express and FedEx
